Summer 2008
Hello and welcome to the summer 2008 Newsletter of the Most Active Corvette Club in America.
Some of what we will cover in this newsletter you may have seen before.
The reason that some topics repeat is that not everyone has e-mail access and those members who do not, may have missed subjects that were covered in our frequent e-mails.
Driving and Social Events
This year we began having more club driving events and club socials then in the past and from the feedback we are getting, these events have been overwhelmingly successful. We will continue to schedule these types of club functions in the future. If you have not yet taken part in any of these drives or club socials come on down to join us for a very pleasant experience.
Our Club picnic is Aug. 10th. Please read the enclosed club picnic invitation and respond to it A.S.A.P. it is important that we have a head count before we order food and drinks.
As most members already know we have lost our Wednesday cruise nights in the Applebee’s parking lot on Staten Island however we do still have our Wednesday cruise nights in Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, and our Tuesday cruise nights in Staten Island at the South Fin Grill on the Sand Lane and the boardwalk.
Club Gets New Dot Com
We were able to secure a second (easy to remember) .com for accessing our club web site It’s; rccorvette.com Please share this information with whoever you think may be interested in our web site because the more “hits” our site receives the better our chances are of selling ad space there in the future...”IF” we choose to do that!
Congratulations and Thank You's
Thank You to Debbie Burns for agreeing to continue your outstanding oversight of our club’s Holiday/Christmas Party.
Good luck in your new, NJ home to our outgoing vendor coordinator “Downtown” Richie Brown.
Much thanks to Jim Russo for the BBQ invitation
Congratulations to “Sir Pauly” Salerno for winning the prestigious “Rooster Award”
