Rainy Spring and Early Summer
Welcome to the most rain-filled spring and summer season in the history of our club. The constant rains caused us to miss more Tuesday and Wednesday cruise nights this year than ever before - It can only get better from here!
Club Picnic
Our Annual Club Picnic is on August 9th, with a rain date is August16th.
This year, we have a Picnic Committee whose job it is to insure that the picnic runs smoothly...
We plan to have a lot of food, including coffee and donuts, hot dogs and hamburgers, a six foot sandwich, trays of hot food, cold drinks, and more. As always our club picnic is free to all members and their children under 6. The fee for children 6 -12 years old is $6.00 each. There is a $15.00 fee for children over 12 and adults - members’ spouses, friends and family, are always welcome to attend.
Please return your Club Picnic form by August 5th, so we can get a head count and be sure there will be plenty of food for everyone.
Our Picnic Committee is already well on their way to making this years picnic special. Thank You, Bob Didyk, John Krytusa, Tony Merola, Vinny Masi, Diana Calvo and everyone who is assisting them in any way.

We are moving the date for our Club Trip to Republic Airport on Long Island to late September or early October. The date will be chosen after we set the date for our Lakes Drive.
Saturday, August 1, 2009 - Annual East Coast Corvette Show and Go at Raceway Park, Englishtown, New Jersey. We leave from Exit 4 of the West Shore Expressway (440 South) at the BP Gas Station at 8:30 AM.
For Corvettes at Carlisle we have made arrangements at the Quality Inn (formally the Fairfield Inn) 175 Beacon Hill Blvd , New Cumberland, PA, 17070 | Phone: (717) 774- 6200 ask for “Carlos” or “Christine” and they will honor the following arrangements for RCCC: member rates will be reduced to $99.99. This price includes a continental breakfast. They have a swimming pool, and restaurants are nearby.
We still meet in the Parking lot of the Gateway National Park in Great Kills when we don’t have a scheduled event on any given Sunday. Approximate time 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
